Peter Benko

Peter Benko is an expert in the field of industrial and municipal waste and in the market, resources, and methods of waste management. He specialises in the field of technology, waste streams, waste recovery and disposal, as well as in the use of energy from waste and mechanical-biological treatment.

Peter Benko worked as the executive director of a multinational company dealing with waste treatment and its ecological processing into waste fuels and subsequent energy recovery. He also served as technical director and director for technical development in Slovakia and the Czech Republic of Marius Pedersen, a.s.. Currently, he deals with technical solutions for waste management applicable in the waste and recycling industry and their professional assessment of suitability for waste treatment within INECS – Industrial Ecology Solutions.
