Petronela Halamova

Petronela is a key member of IPM’s public relations and marketing team, being responsible for analysis and co-creation of communication and marketing strategies, as well as for the communication with a variety of external agencies. Petronela joined the IPM team in September 2019.

Petronela has a previous experience from both, bilateral and multilateral diplomacy, where she assisted and supported political and human rights departments, with special emphasis on the region of Western Balkans. She had also experienced working in the public administration in Slovakia as well as in the third sector, especially in the field of youth participation and environmental protection. She continues to represent Slovak youth at a European level as the Slovak EU Youth Delegate.

Petronela holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and a cooperative Master of Science degree in environmental technologies and international relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and University of Technology in Vienna. She speaks Slovak, English and German.
