Avanea Eco Team participated in the Waste conference 2020 in Žilina which discussed the Environmental Investments in the Private Sector
As one of the partners of the conference, Avanea Eco Waste Management Fund team participated in the 8th WASTE 2020 Conference under the auspices of EKOS Plus, taking place at Holiday Inn Hotel in Žilina on February 4-5th, 2020.
The conference focused on legislation in the field of waste management, including the currently approved transposition amendment to the Waste Act. The program also included talks on the preparation of the Waste Management Program of the Slovak Republic for the years 2021-2025. The presentations of the current Slovak waste management projects as well as the modern trends in the field of waste treatment were featured, too.
The main topic of the presentation of Avanea Eco held in the second block were investments in the waste management as well as other environmental investments in the private sector by the Fund’s parent company – IPM Group. As Petronela Halamova, PR and Marketing analyst of Avanea Eco Fund said during her presentation, Avanea Eco Fund supports projects in the field of recycling, recovery, and waste treatment to provide a comprehensive solution for long-term environmental sustainability.
